My long-suffering yet eternally-patient 3D mentor, Mark, keeps pushing me to poke more at animations, so I did another test to get some idea of how Vue handles rendering animations and how jerky its responses to camera moves can get. The test anim concept is really simple – an infinite terrain, with an animated god-rays atmosphere, 1% distance blur on in Final quality mode. It took a day to render on a single box, but it came out pretty well. Don’t forget to check out Mark’s Honorverse anims. [There is a video that cannot be displayed in this feed.
